After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Ateneo de Manila University, Samm set out to pursue a career in advertising and media strategy—until one audition in her final semester changed everything. Landing a spot as a MYX VJ opened the door to a world she didn’t expect, but instantly loved: hosting, storytelling, and connecting with people. Today, she blends that foundation with her on-stage experience to create moments and content that are intentional, engaging, and built to truly connect.
It wasn’t the plan—

I’ve always been drawn to people—their stories, their energy, the little in-between. I like to listen, to feel the room, to understand what makes something land. And that instinct naturally found its way into how I host and create. It’s less about performing, more about connecting. Less about saying the right thing, more about making people feel something real.
